When is the best time to come to Kuri Bay?
We operate from March through to January with the best months weather wise from May through to August, but don’t let this influence your fishing desires as the fishing in the hotter months is brilliant.
What species of fish are we likely to tussle with?
Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Finger Mark Bream, Blue Bastards, Queen fish species, Trevally species, Cobia, Mackerel species, Sail Fish, Malabar Cod, Blue Nose Salmon, Black Jew, Blue Lined Emperor, Bar Cheeked Coral Trout, Black Spotted Tusk Fish, Permit, and a whole lot more.

We also offer a self-contained cabin for couples or small families.
We pride ourselves in preparing and presenting quality meals from the catch of the day to freshly grown garden greens.
With a full commercial kitchen and top cooks you will not be disappointed.
What kind of boats do we fish from?
These boats are ideal for the inshore fishing and creeks and estuaries.
3 anglers max to each boat as well as our 8m custom built Saba San for the offshore fishing, 5 anglers capacity.
We have available the Cape Bossut a 10 m vessel if we have larger groups.
All vessels are constructed from aluminium and are built for Kimberley coast conditions.
When do we need to be in Broome?
Do you supply tackle?
We do encourage you to bring your favourite outfit and lures.
We have a policy replacement if lost or broken if you choose to use our outfits.
What should we bring on tour?
Please make sure you don’t go over the limit as to avoid disappointment by leaving behind some of your personal belongings.
We do suggest if you do need extra luggage left in Broome whilst at Kuri Bay we can arrange this to be kept secure.
Clothing can be kept to a minimum as we have washing machines and dryers for your use.
Tropical style clothing, a spray jacket and light jumper.
Sturdy boat shoes and runners or similar. Wide brimmed hat, polarised sunglasses. Personal toiletries and medication.
Cameras, binoculars, battery chargers, etc are part of your 15kg limit to bring to Kuri Bay.
Please note you do not need to bring towels or any bedding.
What if I may not want to go fishing every day. What other activities are there to do at Kuri Bay?
The bush and associated walks around Kuri Bay will delight you.
There is a TV room and games room if this tickles your fancy and of course a pool to cool off in.
Jetty fishing is on offer and can produce some nice fish. Or just kick back, pull up a comfy chair on the balcony and read a book.
